Send your complete valve (body, plug and fittings) directly to Tanaco Products. Request a loan valve if you have no spare. There is no charge for loaners except freight. We require 5 to 10 working days to modernize your valve.

Your valve body and fittings are deburred and polished.. All interior ports are honed. Both the inside body taper and the outside diameter of a solid TANACO PLASTIC PLUG are precision ground to match. A stainless steel handle is attached to the plug for four hours under heat and pressure. If the handle of your existing plug will cover the entire plug top, it will be cut off and used. Plug and body tapers are mated and the entire valve is tested in water lines @ 125 p.s.i., returned to you like new, far superior to the original valve and GUARANTEED NOT TO LEAK. This service is about half the cost of new valves.

Welded-in-line valves must be cut from the pipeline at least 3" from the body wall to prevent distortion when rewelding.

Nickel alloy, bronze and brass valve bodies and fittings are hardchrome plated to conform to health regulations, prevent oxidized flavor and be approved for C.I.P. and pasteurized products. Allow an extra week for the plating process.

For tank loan valves, give us the line size, exact distance between centers of the holding bolt holes and if 1/2" or 5/8" bolts.

We modernize valves from 1" through 4" line sizes, angle, 2, 3 and 4 way. We also rebuild valves for special kettles, vacuum pans, rotary fillers, wort machines and compression types. Try us for unusual valve requirements.
